March 8, 2013 - Voodoo Orchestra |
|
Taking its cues from bands like the Brian Setzer Orchestra, the Atomic Fireballs, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the Voodoo Orchestra revisits the high energy jump swing of the ‘30s and ‘40s. With Rat Pack swagger, this dynamic entertainment conspiracy features 20 top notch musicians who faithfully celebrate the music and style of one of America’s golden ages of music. In addition to recent performances in LA, the band headlined Salt Lake City's Official First Night Celebration - EVE 2010, performing for thousands. They have shared the bill with acts as varied as the Robert Cray Band and the Neon Trees. The band was recognized in 2010 by DownBeat Magazine with the award for "Outstanding Rock/Blues Performance". Some
folks call it a western music show; some call it
a stand-up comedy show with masterful cowboy
music; others call it the best musical
experience in the west. Call it what you want to
-- the fact remains; The Bar J Wranglers from
Jackson Hole, Wyoming, deliver some of the
purest harmony, best musicianship and funniest
ranch humor ever seen on stage. As soon as the
Bar J Wranglers take to the stage, listeners
leave behind their busy life and settle into a
time long ago -- a time of the singing cowboy.
We are excited to welcome the Wranglers to our
stage!
